I can haz spectacles?

Saturday, 25 April, 2009

I do not vouch for any of these. In the event you order glasses, be certain to take into consideration the temple length. I just received exactly what I ordered, glasses with a 135mm temple. I need a 145 at least.  Wasn’t paying attention.

Check the prices of the options you require or really really want among multiple vendors. Know that certain glasses are available through various vendors with differing names and certain classic designs are copied widely. You could pay $125 for Shurons at one shop. $90 for an analog of that style at another. $40 with lenses someplace else.

I think I’ve found a new hobby. Coastal Contacts has a couple of frames with wooden temples. I don’t know if that is actually good, but it’s pretty cool.

In my very limited experience, Optical4less has the best “virtual try on”. I did not by my visor from them, however.
