I’m really into Studio 60 … if you’re reading this and it’s near the top of your page you have about 50 minutes until NBC broadcasts this week’s edition, unless you get the West Coast feed in which case you have about four hours … if you’re in Canada, it was on last night. I don’t know when Four plays it so you’re on your own out there in UK.

Anyway, this was the fourth episode and the first in which we’ve stopped being introduced to the scenario and get to see the established characters in action. The “one thing you can’t do on television” promoted last week, was not what I presumed it would be. I anticipated a story about … well, a retelling of how Norm MacDonald got canned from SNL. Alas, it turned out to be a novel story about intellectual property. Really. Not quite as strong as the other episodes and the product placements are getting a little weird, but I’m still digging it.

If you’re around my town I can get you the material to catch up … or you can go to mininova.

Surely you realize how I would enjoy a show about a bunch of obsessed eccentrics who have massed to create some thing of social value.
