Now accepting ideas based on ancient “pagan” rituals and modern analogs for Summer Festivus. In lieu of inspirational words, here is a link to wikipedia’s pages on setsubun, summer solstice, Ivan Kupala Day, Litha, pre-labor movement traditions of May Day, and I’m sure others abound but I’m going to get ready for work.

  • Wednesday, June 21st, 07:26 AM CDST.
  • It could be done the night before, or the evening following.
  • We should devise a new name for the feminine “Festivus Nymph” as the analog for the masculoid head of household of the winter interpretation.

I am entertaining other issues as well.
